Most orders are delivered within 15 to 20 Business days, from purchase to delivery at your door step. Items that take more than two weeks to be delivered to our U.S. Warehouse by the seller may take up to 25 Business days to deliver to you.

Detailed Pricing Breakdown

Transparency is a core part of our business. Below is a clear breakdown as well as a payment schedule of the costs you can expect to see in your Buy & Ship invoice and when each one of them is due.

Cost of Items - This is the total cost of the items you want to purchase. It is paid directly to the seller of the items you wish to purchase.

Total Service Cost - This is a fee paid to Savo Store for handling and facilitating this service. It is charged at 10% of the Cost of Item(s). This fee also covers any U.S. sales taxes charged by the seller, as well as shipment protection against loss or damage for your order while on transit from our US office to our Nairobi office.

Total Shipping Cost - This is the total transportation cost of your order from our US office to our Nairobi office. The shipping cost is billed at a rate of $15/KG based on the actual or volumetric weight (whichever is higher). The minimum charge is $15. Once your order arrives in Kenya, we will weigh and measure its dimensions and then bill you for the total shipping cost.

US local shipping - While most online sellers offer free shipping, some sellers charge shipping fees to ship items within the U.S. If the seller charges a fee to ship to our U.S. address, this fee will be added to your invoice when we purchase your order.

Door Delivery Cost - This is the cost of delivering your order from our Nairobi office to your doorstep. You can either pick up your order from our Nairobi office, or you can request us to deliver it to you wherever you are in Kenya. Click here for details of the delivery charges.

VAT (16%) - VAT is calculated as a percentage of the Total Service Cost + Total Shipping Cost charged by Savo Store.

Payment Schedule:

Buy & Ship orders are paid for in two separate payments. The first payment is due when you place your order. The 2nd payment is due upon arrival of your order in Kenya.

1st Payment: When you place an order with us, we will initially request payment of the Cost of Items, Total Service Cost and VAT at 16% of the total service cost.

2nd Payment: Once your order arrives in Kenya, we will weigh and measure its dimensions and bill you the Total Shipping Cost as well as 16% VAT of the total shipping cost.

Return Policy

It is important that you read our Return Policy before placing an order with us. Due to the risks associated with purchasing used/refurbished goods, goods from eBay sellers or goods from any unauthorized sellers/dealers, we do not accept returns of such purchases under any circumstances. In the event that an item has to be returned or sent to a different location, we can do this for you at your cost.

Kindly note that any fragile goods made of glass, ceramics, porcelain, earthenware or stoneware are shipped at your own risk. This also applies to goods with liquids or any goods that may leak or melt on transit. The are differences in what is prohibited under our Buy & Ship service and our Shipping Only service.
